Cork Athletic fue conocido como Cork United entre 1940 y 1948 y se disolvió en 1957.
Cork Hibernians desapareció en 1976.
Cork Celtic desapareció en 1979.
Cork City se fundó en 1984.
Waterford cambió su nombre por Waterford United en 1982.
Drumcondra se fusionó con Home Farm en 1972 manteniendo el nombre oficial de Home Farm, actualmente son los Home Farm Everton.
Limerick existió con tal nombre de 1937 a 1979, luego cambiaron su nombre por el de Limerick United. En 1983
